Easy Fruit Spread

Calories and Protein will very!

Fruit of your choice
1 tsp. Unflavored gelatin
1 Tbls Cold Water
Splenda to taste

1) Puree your choice of fresh or frozen fruit in a blender, food processor or food mill.
2) Bring the puree to a simmer on low heat, then stir in 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin that has been softened in 1 tablespoon cold water for each cup of puree.
3) Stir and simmer until gelatin is thoroughly dissolved. If desired, add splenda (to make it sweet) to taste. Chill until thickened. Refrigerate in covered container and use it within two weeks.

This one you will have to do your own calorie math, but it is still very low in calories in comparison to normal fruit spreads.
